Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Islamabad

Upon arrival, our guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. After freshening up and resting, our experienced guide will brief you. If you arrive early in the morning, we can tour Islamabad city; otherwise, this tour can be done upon your return.

 

Day 2 Islamabad to Chilas

In the early morning, you will take a PIA flight to Skardu, arriving within an hour, weather permitting. If the weather is unsuitable for flying, you will travel by road to Chilas, a journey of up to 15 hours with various sightseeing stops, including Naran and Babusar Top.

Day 3Chilas to Astore

After breakfast, we will depart for Astore via the Karakoram Highway and Astore Road, arriving in the evening at the lush green valley of Rama Astore. We will transfer to the hotel for the night.

Day 4Astore to Skardu

A full day of driving in a 4×4 across the lush Deosai Plains, the second-highest plateau on Earth at an average height of 4,114 meters. We will explore Sheosar Lake, Bara Pani, Kala Pani, and then reach Sadpara Village and Sadpara Lake. After a stop at the lakeside, we will continue to Skardu city.

Day 5Skardu to Khaplu

Early morning departure to Manthokha Waterfall, then continue to Khaplu. In Khaplu, we will visit the 700-year-old Chaqchan Mosque and the 350-year-old Khaplu Fort.

Day 6Khaplu to Hushe and Back to Machulo

Early morning drive to Hushe, followed by a short hike and trek near Masherbrum Base Camp. Return to Machulo or Saling for an overnight stay.

Day 7Machulo to Shigar

Early morning drive to Saling Fish Farm, then proceed to Shigar. Visit Blind Lake, Cold Desert, Hashupi Bagh, the 900-year-old mosque, and Shigar Fort. Overnight stay at Shigar or Hussainabad.

Day 8Shigar to Skardu

Early morning trek of 4-5 hours to Marsoor Rock for a panoramic view of the Indus River, Skardu city, and Karakoram mountains. Return to Skardu.

Day 9Skardu Exploration

Visit Kharfocho Fort, the organic village, Katpana Desert and Lake, and enjoy city sightseeing.

Day 10Skardu to Kachura and Basho Valley

Visit the lakes of Kachura, including Shangrila Resort and Upper Kachura Lake. Later, drive to the scenic Basho Valley. Drive to Raikot or Juglot for an overnight stay.

Day 11Juglot/Raikot to Fairy Meadows

Early morning drive to Tattu Village, then trek to Fairy Meadows. Spend the day resting and engaging with the local community amidst the lush green fields.

Day 12Fairy Meadows to Nanga Parbat Viewpoint and Hunza

Early morning trek to a prominent view of Nanga Parbat. Trek back to the jeep, drive to Chilas for lunch, and then continue to Hunza. Overnight stay in Hunza.

Day 13Explore Hunza Valley

Spend the day exploring the stunning Hunza Valley. Visit iconic spots such as Baltit Fort, Altit Fort, and the ancient village of Ganish. Enjoy the breathtaking views of Rakaposhi and the surrounding peaks. Overnight stay in Hunza.

Day 14Hunza to Naran

Drive from Hunza to Naran via Babusar Pass. Enjoy the scenic journey with various sightseeing stops. Overnight stay in Naran.

Day 15Naran to Islamabad

Depart for Islamabad, arriving within a few hours. Rest in the evening and enjoy dinner at Margalla Hills with a picturesque view of Islamabad.

Day 16 City Tour of Taxila, Murree, Deena, or Khewra Salt Mine

Choose to visit the archaeological and historic sites of Taxila and Rohtas in Deena near Jhelum, explore the hills of Murree, or visit the world’s largest Khewra Salt Mine.

Day 17Fly Back Home

We will transfer you to the airport for your departure. The Jeep Safari Tour concludes with a heartfelt farewell, and we look forward to hosting you again next year.
